The Dailard School Foundation events are its pride and joy! It is our privilege to support the students, faculty, staff and families of the Dailard community — educationally, socially and financially — and it is absolutely what we do best. These are great opportunities for students and parents to get to know each other, and they serve as the primary fundraisers that enable the DSF to enrich Dailard’s educational culture.

2025/2026 Events
D.A.D.S. Events
D.A.D.S. (Dads Assisting Dailard Students) is a committee of dads and dad figures who host a number of fun events throughout the year, including a paper plane flying competition, a coffee can ice cream making event and the beloved overnight campout. Learn more >>
Dolphin Pledge Drive
The Dolphin Pledge Drive is the first major fundraiser of the school year. It is one of the two large-scale events we host in lieu of a multitude of sales drives that pressure students and families to sell products to friends and neighbors (The other major fundraiser is the Jog-a-thon). The Dolphin Pledge Drive also ensures that 100% of the proceeds benefit the school, instead of sharing profits with an outside organization. Learn more >>
Fall Dance
Get ready to get your groove on! The 2025 Fall Dance will take place on Friday, September 26 and will be a fun, family-friendly night of cool music, photo ops, tasty snacks and the opportunity to mingle with fellow Dailard families. Learn more >>
Movie Night
Enjoy an outdoor movie experience with your fellow Dolphins. This year’s Friday Night Lights event date will be announced soon. Bring the whole family for a night of food, friends and entertainment under the stars. Learn more >>
Grandparents & Graham Crackers
Grandparents and grandparent figures play an important role in our students’ lives. Help us recognize and honor them at this fun event of games, music and a Graham Cracker-themed sweet treat on November 18, 19 and 20. Learn more >>
Fall Festival & Halloween Parade
Nothing celebrates the spookiest season of the year like Dailard’s Fall Festival & Halloween Parade. The 2025 Festival will take place on Friday, October 25, and the Parade will take place on Thursday, October 31. Learn more >>
Holiday Bazaar
Always a fan favorite, the Holiday Bazaar is a week-long, in-school event where students get volunteer “personal shoppers” who help them choose gifts for their friends and families. This year’s event will take place December 8 – 12. Learn more >>
Jog-A-Thon
Dailard’s annual Jog-a-thon, taking place on Friday, January 30, is the DSF’s biggest fundraising event of the year. It supports Dailard’s commitment to the physical fitness of the student body. Money raised from the Jog-a-thon supports technology, the arts, classroom grants, instructional support materials and more. Learn more >>
Multicultural Festival
Our school honors and celebrates cultures and customs around the globe, and especially those of our students, teachers, staff and community. Join us for our second-ever multicultural event on Friday, April 10. Learn more >>
Open House Nights
To give parents an opportunity to meet teachers and staff while seeing first-hand how students grow and learn at Dailard, we host two separate events throughout the school year. The Fall Open House will take place on Wednesday, August 13, and the Spring Open House will take place on Wednesday, April 22. Learn more >>
Parents & Pastries
This teacher-hosted event is a unique opportunity for parents and students to enjoy a sweet treat before school while connecting with other families. This year’s event will take place on Friday, September 19 in the MPR. Learn more >>
Picture Day
Say cheese! Dailard’s 2025 Picture Day will take place on Thursday, September 11. If your student can’t make it, or misses it, Picture Makeup Day will be announced soon. Learn more >>
Scholastic Book Fair
The ever-popular Scholastic Book Fair takes place twice during the school year, and gives students the chance to buy their favorite books and learning accessories. The Fall Book Fair will take place August 25 – 29, and the Spring Book Fair will take place from May 11 – May 15. Learn more >>
Spring Social and Live Auction
Grab a sitter and celebrate with fellow Dailard parents for an adult-only evening of dinner and dancing. By attending the event, and participating in our silent and live auctions, you will help us raise essential funds for our school. Learn more >>
Variety Show
Dailard’s got talent. How do we know? Each year, students in every grade showcase their special skills – from singing to dancing to karate and more. The 2026 Variety Show will take place over two days, from February 18 – 19. Learn more >>
Welcome Wednesdays
