If you’ve ever considered getting involved, now is the time! Some positions will soon be up for grabs – and we’d love to get fresh perspectives as we prepare for next year
President: Jennifer Wan
This is Jennifer Wan’s second year serving as the DSF President. She has a proud 4th grader at Dailard and a new 6th grader at Pershing. She’s been part of the Dailard community since her oldest son started in TK seven years ago! She loves being at Dailard because of its welcoming and generous community of volunteers. If you see her, say “hi!”
Vice President: Courtney Ware
This is Courtney’s second year serving on the DSF board, and she joins the 2025/2026 school year as the Vice President. She has two Dolphins attending the school, and is excited to share all the great activities and events this year.
Activities and Events: Megan Secviar
Megan Secviar is the proud parent of two Dailard Dolphins. She serves as the Activities and Events chair for the DSF. Megan and her family are grateful to live in San Diego and to be members of such a rewarding school community.
Secretary: Nancy Phung-Smith
Nancy is a proud Dailard parent and this year’s DSF Secretary. Her son Noah is in Kindergarten this year, and her daughter Paige will join him at Dailard in TK next year. By day, she’s a licensed therapist–she got involved with the DSF because she wanted to be part of the community her family is growing into — showing up at events, helping behind the scenes, and making sure every family feels welcome and informed. She loves yoga, boxing, or getting outside in nature — usually with her dog, Dylan, in tow.
Communications: Nicole Qumsiyeh
Nicole Qumsiyeh is the Communications Co-Chair and a proud parent of one Dailard dolphin and a soon-to-be dolphin. She is thrilled to support the Dailard community, build meaningful relationships with Dolphin families, and help share all the exciting things happening at our school.
Communications: Janine Zuniga
This is Janine Zuniga’s first year serving as Co-Communications Chair for the Dailard School Foundation. She is the proud mom of twins, Mannix and Blanche, who are both Dailard Dolphins. Janine enjoys volunteering and helping keep the Dailard community informed and connected. She looks forward to supporting the Foundation and getting to know more Dailard families.

Treasurer: Maddie Van Billard Rivera
Maddie Van Billiard is excited to serve as Treasurer for the DSF. She is the proud parent of a 2nd grade Dailard Dolphin and feels grateful to be part of such a caring and connected school community. She looks forward to supporting the programs and experiences that make Dailard special for students and families.
