The Dailard Garden Welcomes You!

Meetings are every other Wednesday, 12:15 to 1:20pm. Free and open to all kids! Come and get your hands dirty.

Children in grades TK-1 must attend with a parent/supervising adult. Motivated students in 2nd grade and up can attend on their own only after approval from Garden Club leaders. Garden Club is not an after school care provider. It is run by parent volunteers.

The 2026/27 Club kicks off on Wednesday, August 26.Sign up by emailing garden@dailard.org, or feel free to stop by an upcoming meeting.

Purpose of Our Club

We are a club committed to educating our kids about where food comes from and why “nearby nature” is so awesome! Working with plants is a skill that benefits kids for a lifetime, and can lead to positive habits such as healthy eating, nature appreciation, creativity and more. We also aim to build community among Dailard families. Students will be actively supporting the In-School Garden Classes by tending our growing crops and worm bin. Surplus seedlings and produce may also be sold through a mini “farmers market”. Activities may also include arts and crafts, interaction with animals and trying new foods.

Who is Eligible and How Does My Kid Join?

Any Dailard student who wants to get their hands a little dirty and enjoy some time outdoors is welcome to participate at no cost. Parent chaperones are required during club meetings. To be notified of club-related activities and resources, please join our Facebook Group (Dailard Garden Club), or email this year’s Garden Coordinator at garden@dailard.org.
