This popular annual event is the biggest fundraiser of the year. It helps keep our kids physically fit and our school financially fit. Funds from the Jog-a-thon go directly to support and enhance academic and cultural enrichment at Dailard.

How It Works

Raise Money—Friends, family, and others (like your favorite business owners!) sponsor students with a flat fee to run or a donation per lap
Pasta DinnerFebruary 20, 2018
Jog-a-thon Event—February 21, 2018
Last Day to Turn in Money–March 2, 2018
(Students must submit their money by this date to be eligible for prizes.)
Jog-a-thon Awards Assembly –March 23, 2018
Students are given visors that serves as lap markers. Each grade is assigned to a color zone where they will have their laps marked on their visors. Kindergartners and third graders wear blue; first and fourth graders wear red; second and fifth graders wear green. Water will be provided to participants during the Jog-a-thon and orange slices will be provided to them after they run.
Preparing for the Event
Students wear the color or shirt assigned to their grade and bring with them the money they have collected from people donating flat fees. Students who collected donations per lap have a few weeks more to turn in their money to be considered for prizes.
