The Dailard School Foundation activities and events are its pride and joy! It is our privilege to support the students, faculty, staff, and families of the Dailard community—educationally, socially, and financially—and it is absolutely what we do best! These activities and events create opportunities for students and parents to get to know each other and serve as the primary fundraisers that enable the DSF to enrich Dailard’s educational culture.

The Dolphin Pledge Drive
The Dolphin Pledge Drive is the first major fundraiser of the scahool year. It is one of the two large-scale events we host in lieu of a multitude of sales drives that pressure students and families to sell products to friends and neighbors. (The other major fundraiser is the Jog-a-thon.) The pledge drive also ensures that 100% of the proceeds benefit the school, instead of sharing profits with an outside organization. Fall Festival
Dailard’s Fall Festival brings the excitement of a carnival boardwalk to school. From cakewalks to pony rides, with feats of skill and savvy, and concessions to recharge brains and bodies, the festival offers something fun to everyone. http://www.dailard.org/activitiesevents/fallfestival/

Holiday Bazaar
The Holiday Bazaar is a week-long bazaar held on campus during school hours in early December. Students come with a shopping list, and parent volunteers help them choose and purchase gifts for friends and relatives. For information about how the bazaar is supplied and organized, click here.

Sweetheart Dance
Dailard’s annual dance takes place in the MPR and is a celebration of our students and their families. Attendees enjoy a live DJ, and refreshment sales that benefit the DSF and 5th grade class. All kids must be accompanied by an adult.

Jog-a-thon
Dailard’s annual Jog-a-thon is the DSF’s biggest fundraising event of the year. It supports Dailard’s commitment to the physical fitness of the student body. Money raised from the Jog-a-thon supports technology, the arts, classroom grants, instructional support materials, and more. For details about the Jog-a-thon, including prizes, click here.

Run/Walk Club
The “Dashers” Run/Walk club is a parent-sponsored activity for 1st through 5th graders. Twice a week, students run or walk laps during recess and track their progress. They can earn tokens and T-shirts when they reach certain milestones, and they enjoy an end-of-the-year celebration. More information about The Dashers is here.

Spring Social
Join us for an adult-only evening of dinner and dancing! Grab a sitter and come celebrate with your fellow Dailard parents. Whether you come on your own or with a larger group, you will leave the evening with great memories made with teachers and fellow parents. This fun evening, with the potential to build life-long friendships, also raises essential funds for our school. You’ll have a blast with our silent and live auctions, with all proceeds going directly to improving the elementary experience for your children. This is a can’t miss experience! For more information click here.

Yearbook (yearbook@dailard.org)
The Yearbook staff collects pictures of Dailard students and functions throughout the year and publishes a yearbook that students can purchase for a nominal cost. It is not a fundraiser. More info here

5th Grade Activities
Dailard 5th graders look forward to a variety of springtime activities that make their last year at school memorable, such as field trips, the 5th Grade Picnic, a promotion ceremony, and class T-shirts. They do their own fundraising for these events.
