Wednesday Update–March 6

Amazing! Wonderful! Well done! Thanks to everyone who participated in the Jog-a-thon–participants, volunteers, SDSU and Charger athletes all! It was a beautiful day for this exciting event, and it certainly looked like everyone had fun. We’ve started the tallies for prizes, so stay tuned for the announcement of when the awards assembly will be.

The last day to turn in Jog-a-thon money for prize consideration is Friday, March 15th. Students who have not submitted their pledges by this date will not be eligible for raffle tickets, shirts, and other prizes. And what fun is that? Mark your calendars and don’t forget!

The Dailard Dash is March 17–a week from Sunday! Online registration closes March 10, and only the first 200 participants get goodies, so don’t delay. Details about registering for the event and the course map for each run can be found on the Dailard Dash page. Volunteers are still needed to mark the course and fill other tasks, so consider signing up to help, too.

NOTE: Monday to Friday next week (March 11 to 15) are half days for parent-teacher conferences.

Stick around after school next Friday (the 15th) to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with Irish Dancers! They’ll be performing in the Multipurpose Room immediately after pick-up. Bring a lunch and watch.

The donation bins are ready to accept your gently used books, clothing, and other goods for the Dailard rummage sale, planned for Friday, March 22 on the upper field after school. Last year was a big success (the bargains! and so social!), and we’re sure this year can be just as good.
